Softball Wrap - Game 4 + other stuff

Game 4 didn't happen. It was cancelled because the other team forfeited to run a 5K for charity. Automatic win!

I wasn't going to be playing tonight anyway. I've been a bit under the weather this week with a cold that I just can't seem to fully shake. I feel better today than I have since last Friday, but still not 100%. That's part of why I haven't posted. I've worked from home 2 of those days and then have gone to bed to cough my head off and annoy Liz at an early hour each night.

I felt like a jerk because of this cold. On Tuesday morning I woke up because Liz started talking to me while I was asleep. I didn't understand a word of what she said because I was 75% asleep, so I just mumbled "What?", saw her roll over, then rolled over myself and went back to sleep. It turns out that we'd been facing one another and I just coughed right in her face. In my defence I was asleep and didn't have the conscious control to cover my mouth. The thing that makes me a jerk is that I just started chuckling to myself thinking about it. I also felt like a jerk before that though for coughing in her face.

I'm gonna miss FlashForward. Tonight's episode was the second last of the season and took place on the day that everyone flashed forward to. Next week will see whether everyone's future comes out as they saw. A lot of character's visions of the future have already been shown to not happen, so it will be interesting to see what happens - nothing seems guaranteed.

I'm also going to miss it because it seems like ABC have cancelled the show beyond this season. Lost is wrapping up here this weekend, and ABC wanted a new show to take over for it as their big show. They started 2 "new" shows - FlashForward and V. It's a shame they decided to stick with the remade alien show (V) and not the show that was something different.
