Damn you, ABC. Damn you...

FlashForward finished up last night - and I thought it was good. Very good. It kept me wondering all the way until the end, and, as anticipated, left itself wide open for more seasons. Throughout the series the characters had talked about there being more FlashForwards, and everything that happened paved the way for and set up those future FlashForwards and therefore future seasons of the show.

Then, ABC took it away. I hope they change their mind at some stage, maybe picking up at a later point in time to match future FlashForwards, but I'm not holding my breath; this is the network that is bringing us that stupid looking Desperate Housewives-but-with-vampires-instead show. Yes, they're really airing a show where it seems like that is the premise. Maybe another network could pick up FlashForward instead...

Apparently part of what made FlashForward lose out to V was that V had better ratings. I hope ABC realize that part of what helped V get some of its viewers is that it was on the same night as, I believe immediately after, Lost.

I considered a boycott of ABC, in protest. Then I realized something: the only thing I watched on ABC was FlashForward...

Sure, I'll admit it, the show wasn't perfect; but it was enjoyable, different and interesting, or at least I thought it was. It had action, twists, savants and John Cho. Don't ask me why (I don't know), but I like John Cho. Speaking of whom, I didn't mention that we saw him the other day!!! People would tell me that it probably wasn't really him, but a guy next to us in traffic looked exactly and completely like him. So much so that I'm convinced it was John Cho rehearsing/immersing himself for a role in which he needs to drive a minivan. I really wanted to take a photo, but given that we were stuck in traffic in lanes next to one another it would have been really obvious.

John Cho: recently drove a minivan.
